MATCH REPORT by Sirong

We are still depleted by injuries.  With Arvind back again in our side, we still had to call on imports, who are Choung's friends.

Our team scored early into the game, Jeffery scoring a fine goal, with blistering pace and close control that saw him go through the entire defence.  He created many opportunities, and Choung squandered a handful.  With a spectacular goal in the last match, many think the he has finally broken the jinx and continue banging in the goals.  But this was not to be.  Hopefully he will really find his scoring touch again.

Without Fairoz, our general in defence, we barely manage to perform the task.  Finally we conceded an equaliser to go back level in half time.  To give credit to the defence, they performed with much gusto and did a great job.

In the second half, we threatened to take the lead again and again.  A couple of near misses by Jeffery that whizzed past the upright and again by Choung.  Finally it was left to Bernard to score his first goal and our team to regain the lead.  A move up the right flank saw him send a looping ball goalwards that fooled everyone and sailed in to goal.

With that we managed to hold on for another victory.
